12/3 Maybe it's the numbers...

Have you ever had one of those weeks where it just keeps getting better? I've just had one and though I'm tired, I'm grinning and being thankful I am alive and allowed to be so lucky sometimes.

My birthday really kicked this week off last Sunday. Generally a day of rest and gardening for me (like today!), this year it was going to be a bonfire in the front pasture, howling at the full moon aligned with the day I was born, 36 years later, on 12/3/06. 12/3 has become a personal mantra for me. I glance at the clock sometimes at either noon or the wee hours of the morning and I see 12:03. I fell in love with a guy on 12/3 who was born on 12/3. The business I sold last year was 12/3 Branding and even on my rampant, mind-cleansing drives across the country, tractor trailers show me I'm flammable at 1203 degrees fahrenheit.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to my other Sag friends out there!

Here's a little poem for your on your 36th Birthday.............

THE YEAR WAS NINETEEN SEVENTY
DECEMBER THIRD THE DAY
HEAVEN SENT A LITTLE ANGEL
A NASHVILLE COUPLES WAY

I'VE ALWAYS BEEN SO PROUD OF YOU
AND WATCHED SINCE YOU WERE BORN
AND MARVLED AS YOU PASSED FROM CHILDHOOD
TO A WOMAN ON HER OWN

TO ME YOU'RE STILL THE GREATEST
AND THAT WON'T EVER CHANGE
LARRY HENLEY'S-- SONG SAID IT BEST
YOUR THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS

YOUR'RE BOTH BEAUTIFUL, SWEET & SMART
AND HAVE TALENT WITHOUT END
NOT ONLY ARE YOU A GREAT DAUGHTER
YOUR ALSO MY BEST FRIEND

I'VE HAD MY SHARE OF BLESSINGS
BUT, IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW
THE GREATEST BLESSING OF THEM ALL
CAME 36 YEARS AGO…….

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING:::

I LOVE YOU, DAD
